openSUSE 11.0 + Compiz Fusion on iPhone

I’ve got a new toy - iPhone, here is the first thing that I tried to do with it :)

Yeah, just two grainy pictures, and openSUSE is not even installed on the iPhone, but believe me it sure is just awsome to be able to use openSUSE 11.0 with all it’s compiz goodness from iPhone touch screen. Using x11vnc on openSUSE and VNsea on iPhone.

    GNU/Linux could well run onto an iPhone (I think it already does). However, the problems with Compiz are, obviously, the limited screen resolution and the hardware requirements in memory and processing power, in order to render fluid tridimensional graphical effects.

    forget about it next iphone firmware will be full of crappy drm tpm and so on…
    no more homebrew
    only apple approved software so forget about linux and other things
    ok vnc maybe will live but … it sucks guys

    Why didn’t you wait for the 3g version

    By the way , is it hacked to run any network, I think only the 1.0 is hackable and the other versions are just invincible , So which software version are you running on it

    Also i was wondering if i could install Linux on a HTC running Windows Mobile 5 (which simply sucks)
